Sheets to dust cloths

when your old flannel sheets become thin cut them up into dust/cleaning rags
i let the fabric dictate the size of each cloth & then fold in half & stitch around the edge.
they are soft enough to polish & strong enough scrub with.
they last quite a long time esp the ones that are cut from the edge of the sheet as its usually still like new.
they can also be used to make wee wipes.

Sheets make the best dusters!

I do the same with my old sheets except I am naughty or lazy, and dont sew the edges...

Yours look great!

They also make good baby bottom wipes, instead of those nasty fragrance filled ones, napkins (maybe for non-guest nights) and yes dusters too.
Wee wipes are on the long list of sewing things. But I think I might have to bump them up ;-)

Emily, you wont be disappointed with the wee wipes i have been using them for about 4 years now & i wont go back. i make mine triple thickness & sew around the edge.
