Hi Nicole, glad to see you back. Earth Hour is what started me on my footprint reduction, I found out how much electricity things use when they are on standby.

We always do it but I am rugby fanatic so if my team are playing I watch the game but leave everything else off for much longer to make up for it.;-) x

Hi
We do this every year and sit outside and watch the stars. Last years or whole street came out and we all got together abd caught up with each other. I wish it was more often.

Looking forward to hearing about your exciting news Nicole. I wonder if it is what I think it is :) We had dinner with friends at their house so didn't really have the nice quiet time we enjoyed last year but at least everything at home was switched off. The night sky is always beautiful up here but even more so with less lights on tonight.

Hi Nicole.
I had some trouble last year getting anyone to take earth hour seriously in my house.
This year we compromised -we sat without any lights on, only candles, whilst watching Iron Chef on the TV!
I guess we saved some power ????
