this week is all about Collections
what do i collect, well if you ask my family its all junk & there is just too much of it
oh well i like them & thats all that matters
one of the first collections i started were ceramic jugs, i now have quite a few different kitchen collections. one of them is Rolling Pins, when ever i find a new one it makes me think about all those pie crusts it has rolled out, i have used some of them but my fav is the glass one, it has a nice heavy even weight & rolls pastry beautifully.
i have been collecting Bee Hives for a number of years in the form of honey pots, i also have an old green hive out the back, oh & an abandoned wasp nest [it feels like paper]. these are my fav three
Badges are a new collection from the past year, they are fun & cute & make me smile :o)

I love rolling pins, my favourite is a nice NZ kauri one but it is actually too big for my little hands. Your glass one would be great, nice and cold for pastry.
Your beehives are beautiful too.

that's what i forgot to mention..i collect rolling pins too, i LOVE yours! and as for those beehive pots, they're simply adorable!
hmn. for me as of lately would have to be FLIES. these aussie flies are everywhere...driving me mad. i cant bear to resort to the fly strip.
I have never seen a glass rolling pin, I love them. my favorite rolling pin has a big ditch in it from a knot but it came from my Mum and reminds me of my childhood.

yours is the second collection of bee related memorabilia ... i had no idea there were so many bee items and they are so cute.

wow, a glass rolling pin! I've heard the heavier rolling pins are the best to use, I imagine glass is the ultimate!
